International training fellowship in NHS UK 2023
College of Physicians and surgeons of Pakistan has announced International training fellowship positions for Junior and Senior fellows at, Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust UK, Basildon hospital.

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is a National Health Service (NHS) foundation trust that provides healthcare services in the Mid and South Essex region of England. It was established in April 2020, following the merger of the Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust and the Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
It includes the county of Essex, as well as parts of the counties of Kent and London.
The trust is responsible for providing a range of healthcare services, including acute hospital care, community health services, and mental health services, to a population of approximately 1.2 million people. Some of the hospitals and healthcare facilities operated by the trust include Southend University Hospital, Basildon University Hospital, and Broomfield Hospital.
Basildon University Hospital is a large teaching hospital located in Basildon, Essex, England. It is part of the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, and provides a range of acute healthcare services to the local community. The hospital has a number of specialist units, including a critical care unit, a stroke unit, and a maternity unit. It also has a number of outpatient clinics and diagnostic services, including x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. The hospital works closely with the University of Essex, which is located nearby, to provide education and training opportunities for healthcare professionals.
CPSP has approved the training in the trust to meet the post-graduate training requirement and skills improvement. The training will be supervised by a clinical supervisor.
CPSP-MSEFT offers fellowships to both levels junior and senior fellows, Junior Fellowship and Senior Fellowship levels are in keeping with their past clinical experience and qualifications.
Specialities for Junior fellowship:
1. Acute and General Medicine
A Fellowship in Acute and General Medicine will require you to rotate through a number of sub-specialities of medicine, including acute medicine. These include, but are not limited Respiratory Medicine; Nephrology; Diabetes; Gastroenterology, Geriatric Medicine
Specialities for Senior fellowship:
1. Accident and Emergency Medicine (you must be registered with the College for Emergency Medicine to be eligible to apply)
2. Acute Medicine
3. General Internal Medicine
Rotating through a number of sub-specialities of medicine, including Respiratory Medicine; Nephrology; Diabetes; Gastroenterology, Geriatric Medicine.
Requirements for application:
Have passed IMM exam
English language competency (OET B overall and B in all parts) (IELTS 7.0 minimum in each part with 7.5 overall)
Be in good standing with CPSP
Applications dates :
Last date to apply is 27/01/2023
Interview will be held in CPSP regional centres in March 2023
Selected individuals will commence program in August 2023.
