Editor-in-Chief: Clinical gastroenterologist and researcher Nicholas J. Talley, MD, PhD, is well known both domestically and abroad. He has a particular interest in gastrointestinal epidemiology and neurogastroenterology. While serving as Pro Vice-Chancellor (and Professor), Dean (Health), and Consultant Gastroenterologist at the University of Newcastle in Australia, he simultaneously has adjunct professorships at the University of North Carolina and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. At Mayo Clinic Florida, he formerly served as chair of the department of medicine. Dr. Talley served as the American Journal of Gastroenterology’s Editor-in-Chief in the past.
