International Training Fellowship UHB NHS TRUST – CPSP MTI UK
College of physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) has announced
International training Fellowship jobs in collaboration with University
Hospital Birmingham (UHB) NHS Trust, UK. UHB TRUST is one of the leading
teaching hospitals of UK. The clinical positions are distributed among the four
constituent hospitals covering Birmingham.
The International Fellowship job is for the CPSP fellows
from Pakistan, to get further clinical exposure and enhance their skills. The
duration of fellowship is for 2 years. The training is supervised by a clinical
instructor and the program is overseen by an educational supervisor. CPSP itself
has a regional center and director based in Birmingham, who can be contacted
regarding cpsp training requirements and issues faced by the residents during
their 2 years international training fellowship
The application process has been initiated and the closing
date for applications is 21st of November 2022. The application form
has to be filled online, the application fields correspond to your biodata, clinical
experience, education, any research activity along with evidence of English
language competency.
English language competency is required by the GMC, at the
time of license registration, both the OET and ILETS are acceptable. The score
for OET is a minimum B in each component and also an overall B. ILETS needs 7.0
band at least in each component with an overall 7.5 band.
The positions are open for both the CPSP junior fellows (currently in training having passed the
IMM exam) and senior fellows (having passed the FCPS part II exam and in good
standing with CPSP)

A Fellowship in Acute and General Medicine will require
you to rotate through a number of subspecialties of medicine, including acute
medicine. These include, but are not limited to, Infectious Diseases;
Respiratory Medicine; Nephrology; Diabetes; Gastroenterology, Geriatric
Medicine and Critical Care.

centers, and following selection process the session will commence in July
2023.
