The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in partnership with the Dudley NHS trust UK has announced new openings for international fellowship program under the CPSP-MTI UK program.
What are the CPSP International training fellowships?
Briefly, the CPSP MTI training fellowships is a 24 months international placement in the UK and Ireland in partner trust hospitals.
The positions are of two types;
1. Junior fellow
2. Senior fellow
The program lets trainee’s under cpsp fellowship program in Pakistan to get 2 years training experience in the affiliated international centres, with the added benefit that the training is supervised by a cpsp approved supervisor at the respective international centre and the training period of 24 months counts for the CPSP fellowship program too.

International training fellowship in DUDLEY TRUST NHS UK
The trusts alongwith CPSP announce openings once or twice a year, this time the Dudley NHS Trust has announced positions for Junior and Senior fellows at Russels Hall Hospital an affiliated hospital of University of Birmingham.
The cpsp recognizes the training for professional examinations and continued professional development and has oversight by the appointed educational supervisor.
The college will provide stipend for the whole duration of training.
For on site guidance, a cpsp regional director is also based in Birmingham.
The Clinical placements are as follows;
Junior fellows:
- Acute and internal medicine
- Cardiology
- Critical care medicine
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Emergency Medicine
- OET ( with atleast B grade in all components ) or ILETS ( minimum 7.0 band in all components and 7.5 overall)
- For junior fellows – Passed IMM
- For senior fellows – Passed FCPS II and be in good standing with CPSP.
- Experience to be supported by elogbook.
